ARCHIVE COMMITTEE
Archive: Chair - Kim King, Theresa Lupardus, Sherida Cook

Shall be composed of three members, the Chairperson shall be known as the historian. They shall compile a written history of the activities of MAPA for the year, which shall be read at the annual meeting and after adoption be put in a permanent archive book. The historian shall display all Archive Books at conventions, meetings and all other events Association President deems appropriate.


AUDIT COMMITTEE
Audit: Chair - Lori Schroder, Kaley Reagan, Paula Scobey, Lisa Asbury 

Shall make a complete audit of the financial records of the Treasurer and to make a report of this audit to the last session of the Annual Convention of the Association. The audit period shall cover from the first day of the previous annual convention to the first day of the present convention.


AWARDS COMMITTEE (previous recipients)
Awards: Chair - Angie Casavecchia, Wendy Metcalf, Cher Caudel, Connie Hagan, Franky Todd, Charli Ackerman, Carol Johnson, Karen Digh-Allen, Rhonda Noe

Shall pick an Outstanding Public Administrator to be presented at convention each year. Recipient shall be judged on achievement as County Public Administrator, contributions to the Missouri Association of Public Administrators and community service.


BY-LAWS COMMITTEE
By-Laws: Chair - Wendy Metcalf, Linda Niendick, Karen Digh-Allen, Carol Johnson, Julie Hagen, Craig Fuller

Shall propose amendments to Association's By-Laws and present at annual meetings.


DMH LIAISON COMMITTEE
DMH Liaison: Chairs - John Killian and Mary Jo Colley, Angie Casavecchia, Cher Caudel, Rhonda Noe, Tim Weaks, Tonya Garvin, Kim King, Vicky Fish, Alexa Summit, Shanna Burns, Kelsey Westerhold, Sam Madsen, Joanna Jasper, Amanda Huffman, Ralph Jobe, Sherida Cook, Mary Jo Straatmann, Trina Holloman, Paula Scobey 

This committee will include the MAPA Executive Officers, the nine Regional Vice Presidents or a representative from the region appointed by the Vice President(s), and the above three members.


ETHICS COMMITTEE
Ethics: Chair - Angie Casavecchia, Wendy Howe, Danielle Boggs, Kelsey Westerhold, Craig Fuller, Mary Jo Colley

Shall oversee and advise on ethical issues concerning, but not limited to, the following: DNR Orders, End of Life Care, Conflict of Interest, Codes of Professional Responsibility, and Rules of Professional Conduct, both as individuals and as an association. It shall be the purpose of the Ethics Committee to educate the Association on ethical and moral issues in health care and to monitor legislative changes that may have ethical and moral implications. The Committee shall engage in advisory, educative and consultative activities on a regular basis to meet the ethical needs of this Association and to develop policies or guidelines for approval by the Association.


LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE
Legislative: Chairs - John Killian (D) and Tim Weaks, Tonya Garvin, Rhonda Noe, Cher Caudel, Karen Digh-Allen, Mary Jo Straatmann, Amanda Huffman, Charli Ackerman, Mary Jo Colley, Melissa Vigen, Carol Johnson, Matthew Jackson, Tracey Perry, Paula Scobey 

Shall draft and present to the session of the Missouri Legislature the various bills affecting this Association and to supervise the efforts made to secure the passage of the bills introduced. This Committee shall work in close cooperation with the Board of Directors with regard to ascertaining the needs and desires of the Association concerning Legislation and shall make a report at each meeting as to its activities.


MEMBER ADVOCATE COMMITTEE
Member Advocate – TBD

Shall act on behalf of the Association to support individual Public Administrators in court or otherwise to pursue specific legal questions in dispute around the state


NOMINATING COMMITTEE
Nominating: Chair - Amanda Huffman,
Carol Johnson, Barbara Davolt, Danielle Boggs

Shall nominate at least one candidate for each office. Nominating Committee shall report its nominations for the officers to be elected at each annual Convention of this Association at the business meeting as scheduled by the Convention Arrangement Committee. Additional nominations from the floor shall be permitted. Consent from each nominee must be obtained.


PROCEDURES/RESOURCE MANUAL
Procedure/Resource: Chair - Rhonda Noe, Amanda Huffman, Paula Scobey, Tonya Garvin, Jackie Miller, Sam Madsen

Shall propose additions to the Accepted Association Procedures Manual and present them to the Association at Convention to be voted on and accepted. The chairperson shall give the additions to Accepted Association Procedures to the Association secretary.


RESOLUTIONS COMMITTEE
Resolutions: Chair - Brenda Doody, David Knight, Ralph Jobe

Shall introduce resolutions to membership at Annual Convention as scheduled by the Convention Arrangement Committee


RETENTION MANUAL COMMITTEE
Retention Manual – TBD

Shall stay updated with the Missouri Secretary of State's Office to report back to this Association any changes the State makes concerning record retention policy. This committee shall also review the MAPA Retention Manual and make recommendations for changes to this Association. All changes will be voted on by MAPA and the committee shall then present this Association's recommended changes to the State Local Records Retention Board for their review.


STATE OMBUDSMAN COMMITTEE
State Ombudsman: Chair - Nancy Jo Jennings,
Wendy Howe, Julie Hagen, Cindy Baxter, Paula Sims

Shall represent MAPA members in any change or concerns MAPA members may have when working with their Long Term Care Ombudsman. This committee should be comprised of three or more members.


TRAINING COMMITTEE
Training Commission: Chair - Connie Hagan (3rd), Paula Scobey (3rd), Paula Barr 4th class acting as 2nd), Nancy Jo Jennings (2nd), Sonja Boone (1st), Shanna Burns (1st)

Per RSMo 671.30, this committee is comprised of 1 member of each class county and an alternate.


PUBLIC RELATIONS/WEBSITE COMMITTEE

Public Relations/Website – Chair: Danielle Boggs, Tonya Garvin, Jackie Miller, Julie Hagen, Tracey Perry 

Shall prepare press releases for Public Administrators to submit to their local media following the annual convention and any other times which may merit such recognition. This committee shall prepare and maintain a website for the benefit of all members and information for other agencies and shall provide articles of interest and keep an updated Membership Directory posted on the website.
